Here we go again. Bombs in Bali.

More here at Aunty.

Unlike the last time bombs went off, I don't have anyone there at the moment. I was lucky that my friends weren't in the blast at the Sari Club - they were too hungover from the night before. It still made for some horrible days until we knew they were safe.

I hope that there are no deaths. Not holding my breath, though.

Hey Nilknarf, you're right (re post on TB's site). It's fun to have a little bit of a rant on Dreamboat's site.

Hee, hee

It is scary, outer east girl, and getting scarier. And the extremists aren't on the outer in Islam. They are an intrinsic part of it.

If you want nightmares, check out jihadwatch and gates of vienna (links in the blogroll).

I don't know enough about Islam to say too much more than the comments I already have.

Of course, I get very irritated every time I see a woman getting around in one of those head-to-toe deals with just the eye slits, and sometimes even that is covered by mesh.

I am dreaming about the day a major bank heist occurs because some people have dressed up like this in order to get the weapons into the bank.

If you can't wear motorcycle helmets into any establishment (and balaclavas are definitely a no-no), why is this dress permissable in a day and age and country where nobody is required to cover themselves like this?

The only Taliban that is in this country is the great-unwashed that TELLS me that I must accept these people in MY country for who they are while they bring their little horde in and treat me and mine like scum.
