Pussy Force

Okay, I'm not being fair to our boys and girls in blue, but this piece of policy is offensive in the extreme.

Since when are our police there to provide culturally appropriate, customer orientated services to all Australians?

I always thought they were there to uphold the law, and since we only have one law in this country (except for the other ones, like the Koori Court). Looks like I was wrong.

As ever, our public servants here in Brackistan are pandering to the minorities.

I am severely unimpressed after reading this wankfest.

Whatever happened to catching criminals? All our coppers seem to be doing are raising revenue via cameras and making sure the religious minorities don't have cause for complaint.

Sorry, guys, this is Australia. We have one rule of Law, and when you live here you should abide by that. If you want to get overly wussy about it, then feel free to move to a fascist state (Iran or North Korea, anyone?) and then you can have something to really whinge about.

Our policy makers need to get their heads out of their arses and put our police back to work. No wonder they call this the Nanny State.

The spambots got in just as I was updating the settings for the word verification thingy.

We'll see how it goes.

I heard a bloke on the weekend refer to the police as 'dogs'. I wasn't happy initially as it was the police who helped me get where I am today, but unfortunately what he said it very true. They do seem to spend a lot of their time chasing cars instead of protecting the weak and those that can't protect themselves.

I have had an absolute gutful of pandering to the minorities. I am a single white male and, as such, can get derided in the media and by any other section of society and I am expected to just take it. As soon as it even looks like I'm going to retaliate, I get howled down and called all sorts of names (eg: racist, xenophobe, misogynist, etc).

There is no more catching criminals anymore as far as the hierarchy of the police are concerned. It is all about budgets and saving money rather than saving lives and protecting taxpayers. Catching criminals costs money - catching speeders balances the state budget.

Australia's legal system is a joke. A pathetic, ugly, silly, moronic joke that is perpetuated by those who think they are some sort of naturalised blue-bloods and are entitled to look down on people from behind a bench.

Our legal system does not catch and punish criminals - all it does is find someone on which to lay blame rather than determining what actually happened.

The sooner that the legal system here is abolished and replaced with a model like the French use (similar to a Royal Commission), the better off we will all be.

All that will be required then is to allow the police to do their jobs. They shouldn't be used as tax collectors and nor should they have to be abused by the great unwashed who have nothing better to do than protest about some new piece of half-witted tripe from week to week.

My mini ratbag is fine, now, thanks. The other kids are also, ta.

As for the police force. What was it that Keating said? Something about being flogged by a limp lettuce or some such thing.

You should try it down here. We have the Police Minister straight out of kindergarten (Tim Holding) and our Police Commissioner Christine Nixon, who goes AWOL whenever the hard questions need answering. Well, at least until she's got her press release sorted, which can take over a week.

I don't know if you heard about it up there, but we had a case recently of 20000 pages of information from the police data base being sent to the wrong person. Holding disregarded a message about it because it apparently had a couple of typos in the first paragraph. (Too lazy to link at the moment sorry.) What a complete tosser. He's only in his 30s, but that's no excuse for pig ignorance and stupidity.

As for Nixon. Well, when we got her from NSW, one of her big things was that she didn't want to be known for her sexuality. Like we give a toss? Then she promptly gives the ok for officers to march in gay pride parades in uniform. This means, of course, that they get paid for the time spent parading around instead of catching crooks.

GRRRRRRR!

Can someone remind me why we have police at all, please?

And don't get me started on sentencing! I think I need a drink! :D

I haven't got the foggiest, Scott. You could be right. If so many single blokes are blogging, and plenty of single girls are, too, then it's no wonder they seem a bit thin on the ground.
